The desire to be a barber was born when Lucas was 13 years old where he used to get his hair cut by the local barber in his hometown. By observing the different styles practiced by the professionals, he began to fall in love with the profession. Since then, his passion continued to grow, and he decided to educate himself more and more. At the age of 15 he opened his first salon in the back of his grandmother's house which years later led to him becoming a barber in the Brazilian army and cutting the hair of the new recruits.
At the age of 19 the opportunity arose to work at a bank, where he spent 10 years developing his ​​leadership, management, administration, and entrepreneurial skills. To continue educating himself during this period, he  studied marketing and strategic business management knowing. It would come in handy to whatever life had in store for him.
In 2015 Lucas Lima came to live in the United States where he managed to combine his experience as a barber with his experience in ​​entrepreneurship. He brought a unique, new concept to the United States where he continued to grow, develop, and transform the lives of the people by his side.
Lucas Lima also created an education program called “Barber Expert” where he teaches workshops filled with all different, useful courses to help teach licensed barbers how to perfect their craft and succeed in the marvelous barber shop industry.
